Chevrolet Super Bowl Ad Roundup From Elm Chevrolet

Now that the aftermath of Super Bowl XLVI has officially settled, we here at Elm Chevrolet could like to take a minute to go over some of our favorite American automaker's advertising efforts. Specifically, Chevrolet aired a total of five ads, and their subjects ranged from the long-lasting Silverado 1500 to the all-new Sonic.

The Sonic actually featured two adspots. One showcased the subcompact Chevy experiencing a wide range of "firsts," including it bungee jumping, doing a "kick flip" jump, sky diving, and starring in its first music video with the band OK Go. And speaking of that music video, it was another ad featured that night too. Lead singer Damian Kulash, Jr. says, "We always strive to find a new path with our music and our videos, so it's really great to partner with a company like Chevrolet that is willing to push boundaries to connect with their audience, too."1

Meanwhile, another commercial featured the Chevy Silverado 1500, having just survived the long-predicted 2012 apocalypse. Another had some fun with the out-of-this-world capabilities of the 2012 Volt. And finally, there's the premier of the ChevroletRoute66 Contest winner, "Happy Grad," created by 26-year-old Long Island resident Zach Borst.

So, which Super Bowl ad did you like best from Chevrolet? Feel free to leave us a comment, as we'd love to know!
