
Elm Chevrolet's Preferred Owner Program (hereinafter referred to as
"the Program") is open to all retail customers of Elm Chevrolet
(hereinafter referred to as "Elm"). Program participants do not need to
own or purchase a GM vehicle to participate. Preferred Owner Award card
is at no cost to you.
The purpose of the Preferred
Owner program is to reward retail customers for doing business with
Elm. Each new card is pre-loaded with their first oil change and tire rotation as well as 200 Sales Points. One award point
is equal to one dollar. Customers receive their cards when they purchase
a vehicle from Elm or bring their existing vehicle in for service, body
repairs or any purchases in our Parts Department.
Sales
Points are good towards the retail purchase of a new or used vehicle
from Elm. Once the vehicle is purchased and existing points are
redeemed, additional Sales Points will be loaded to the customer's card
toward another vehicle purchase.
The Program also
awards each customer five percent (5%) of every dollar he or she spends
on service, body repairs (example: customer pay deductible) parts and
accessories at Elm Chevrolet in the form of Purchase Points which may be
redeemed for retail service, parts and accessories on the customer's
next visit.
For example, if a customer spends
$100.00 (before taxes are added) with Elm Chevrolet, he or she receives
five Purchase Points. Since each purchase is worth one dollar towards a
future purchase, the next time the customer comes to Elm, he or she can
receive a five-dollar discount (if they choose to use the points for
that transaction instead of saving them up).
Purchase
Points will only be added up to the amount actually paid by the
customer. For Example, a customer spends $100.00 for service and redeems
twenty (20) Purchase Points, then five percent (5%) of $80.00 will be
added to the Preferred Owner card for new Purchase Points (4 Purchase
Points).
Starting immediately, points can now be accrued from any on-line purchase at Target, ebay, Home Depot, Borders Books, GAP, Babies R Us, Petco, Macys, Best Buy, Barnes & Nobles, Sports Authority, Marriott, Dell, Golfsmith and Godiva. Simply log in to your gmpreferredowner.com account and click on the "Bonus Points and Discounts" button and start shopping. The "Bonus Points" will post to your account in approximately 30-45 days from your purchase dat.
Program users may accumulate an unlimited
amount of Sales or Purchase Points, but may only redeem a maximum of
$500 Sales or $300 Purchase points in each transaction. Points can be
earned and redeemed only on retail transactions. Points cannot be
redeemed for cash. Any items purchased with the preferred card cannot be
returned for cash. All returned items' value will be applied to the
preferred card. Award points cannot be used in conjunction with other
specials and coupons. Award points cannot be earned or redeemed on
wholesale, fleet, warranty or discounted services or items. You cannot
accrue points on warranty, insurance or extended warranty purchases
(non-customer pay items).
As a Preferred Owner, Buy 4 Lube, Oil and Filter changes and receive 1 FREE.
Cards
will expire one year from the date of issue, if inactive. At the time
of expiration, the customer's points may be transferred to a new card,
along with their transactional history at the time of the next purchase.
Elm
Chevrolet reserves the right to modify the Program, whether wholly or
in part. Elm also reserves the right to change the points awarded or to
vary, at its own sole and absolute discretion, the terms and conditions
stated herein, including withdrawing, replacing, and/or terminating the
program at any time and without any prior notice to the Program card
holder.
ACCOUNT INFORMATION
Customers may access their Preferred Owner accounts by going to the Program's website,
www.GMPreferredOwner.com. In
order to access his or her account, a customer must have provided a
valid email address at the same time they enrolled in the
Program. Customers may also call the Program's customer service line at

PRIVACY POLICY
At
Elm Chevrolet maintaining our customers' trust and confidence is a high
priority. We want you to understand how we protect your privacy when we
obtain information about you and how we safeguard that information.
1. We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:
- Information we receive from you on applications or other forms, including online
applications and forms submitted to us or our designated 3rd party sources;
- Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates or others, and
- Information we receive from a consumer-reporting agency
2. We
may disclose all of the information that we collect about you as
described above, while you are a consumer, customer, or former customer,
to our affiliates and to non-affiliated 3rd parties.
3. We
may disclose nonpublic personal information about you, while you are a
consumer, customer, or former customer to the following types of 3rd parties:
- Financial service providers, such as banks, captive financial companies, credit unions, and financial institutions.
- Non-financial companies and others, such as auto manufacturers, market research firms, etc.
4. We may also disclose nonpublic personal information about you to nonaffiliated 3rd parties as permitted by law.
5. We
restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those
employees who need to know that information to provide products and
services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural
safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic
personal information.
6. We may disclose, while
you are a consumer, customer, or former customer, any information we
collect about you to companies that perform marketing services on our
behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have joint
marketing agreements.
