At Elm Chevrolet, we encourage all of our customers to get a tire inspection and alignment check annually to reduce uncertainties about tire condition, risk, and how to squeeze every mile of life out of your tires. By following a few simple recommendations, you can plan ahead for your vehicle's alignment service.
Here are some tips to help you know when to schedule alignment service:
- Steering pull – the car pulls to one side when the logo in the steering wheel is set to center
- Uneven tread wear – one tire has different wear patterning compared to the others
- Rapid tread wear – one or more tires have less tread or show signs of cupping, rings, balding, or bulges
The Importance of Driving on Aligned Wheels
We consider keeping your vehicle's wheels in proper alignment essential maintenance because of the way it prevents uneven and/or rapid tread wear. By mitigating tire wear throughout your vehicle's life, you protect your investment through lower long-term operating costs. When your vehicle does need alignment service, we encourage Elm Chevrolet drivers to trust us as their wheel alignment service center.
