I have 2700 miles on my car, and I brought it in because the service engine soon light came on. I was given a loaner for 2 weeks. I was told there was no fix for this issue. I started a claim with GM, who told me to check in with Elm to see if there was a fix. I am assuming that Elm would call when there was a fix.

Disappointed in the Service department, we have bought several trucks from ELM and had service done on several vehicles over the years. The last few times had been a mess, we drop our vehicle off in the early morning because we work and ask to have it ready by 1500 when we get out of work, and the last few times it has not been done until 1630. This last time our car had an appointment at 0840 got a call at 0915 you missed your appointment we can reschedule, my car is on the lot, then got a call couldn’t find my keys. Then they found my keys stuck in the drop off box( probably should have checked that before calling customer) then told my car will get pushed to the back (1630). You have always been good to us, I am not sure what has changed over the last year but very disappointed in the way you are heading. Even the word in the community is not good for ELM, someone should really look at the trends over the last two years and make some changes.

The work was decent. Although there are still scratches in the paint on the body. And marks on the taillight that weren’t repaired replaced. In this instance, I believe the problem is more with the adjuster vs the body shop. But bottom line, I was not “made whole” as there is still damage present to my vehicle, that wasn’t there prior to the accident.

Service was great. Folks are friendly and helpful. facility is nice. Only disappointment on the visit was they changed the air filter. It cost $69 to do that. I guess I should ask how much before I approve it. Seems like a very high price. You can buy a good air filter for less than $20. I won't do that again. Will certainly be changing my own filters that are accessible like that.

Took 3 days this time. We had to bring vehicle back after having front struts replaced. We were informed on this visit that one of the struts was defective and that it would be no cost to us. However, there would be a delay waiting for parts. Service manger suggested work on the stability link since it was there and it was the reason we had brought it back. So we also had to pay for an alignment in addition to what the extended warranty deductible.
